You know, restoring a site from 23 years ago is a bit harder than one would imagine…LOL. Not that it’s physically hard or anything, but the problem is my instinct is to not do certain things because it’s simply “wrong” for this era…so I have to consciously remember to do old things, even if it’s against my better instincts as a developer!
I have started restoring some images, such as the Tama Link icon to the right, I restored it the best I could from what I could remember it looked like…no promises it’s accurate…LOL. I’m doing this in my spare time, outside of my job, taking care of a house and raising 5 baby kittens. So things won’t progress as quickly as I, perhaps others, would like…but they will get there!
In the mean time, if you would like to be a staff member then send me an email at dragon.nii.chan@gmail.com, I’m looking for fanfic writers, wallpapers artists, etc. to help flesh the site out with more modern and updated downloadable. I do want to maintain the original look and feel of the site, to the best of my ability, however, as you can imagine any wallpapers I can manage to recover will be sorely out of date (I mean, really, back then we were at 800×600 and if you were really lucky you were killing it with 1024×768!).
